This policy explains how Buoyency (a sole proprietorship registered in Istanbul, Türkiye — Doğan Can Gültekin) handles personal data in connection with istanbulboatparty.com. We aim to comply with Türkiye's KVKK and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the GDPR.
This is a simple promotional website with no sign-up or contact forms, so we collect very little directly:
We do not sell tickets on this site, so we do not collect payment data here. Ticket purchases happen on our ticketing partner's platform (Biletimgo), which has its own privacy policy.
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site and our events: our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our ticketing partner (Biletimgo), and — only if you accepted advertising cookies — Meta. We do not sell your personal data.
Cloudflare and Meta are established outside Türkiye and process data on servers outside Türkiye and, in some cases, outside the EEA (including in the United States). This means that if you accept advertising cookies, your data is transferred abroad. Under KVKK such transfers require your explicit consent, which is what the cookie banner asks for; if you decline, no data is sent to Meta. For visitors in the EU/EEA, these providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We ask before we track. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept advertising cookies. Nothing is loaded until you choose, and declining is exactly as easy as accepting.
Changing your mind: you can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser (in most browsers: the padlock icon in the address bar → site settings / cookies and site data → delete). The banner will then appear again on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies for security and to keep the site available. Our ticketing partner (Biletimgo) sets its own cookies on its own website once you leave ours.
Under KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, to ask for a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we respond within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to Türkiye's data protection authority (KVKK — kvkk.gov.tr) or, if you are in the EU/EEA, to your local supervisory authority.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
